The Meridian Arts Commission (MAC) is seeking applications from artists to bring public art to Meridian by commissioning three artists to create original artwork themed around Meridian history that will be printed on vinyl wraps and installed on traffic boxes in Meridian, Idaho. MAC anticipates commissioning three different artists to create one set of artworks for the pair of boxes at three different locations. The selected artists will be paid $600 each to create a unique, bright, colorful, eye-catching design, to be fabricated into a vinyl wrap that will cover all vertical faces of the traffic boxes. The opportunity is open to artists working in all disciplines, 18 years of age and older, and residing within the Treasure Valley. Click on the link above for full application details.
