- For pickup, place the item(s) at the curb 3 feet from other objects, such as waste carts or parked cars, by 6 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day.
- All 10 free pickups can be used at one time.
- Outside of appliances and furniture, bulky items may not weigh more than 60 lbs.

- Car parts
- Construction & demolition debris
- Electronic waste (e.g., rechargeable batteries and computer items)
- Fence posts
- Hot tubs
- Household Hazardous Waste (e.g., mercury-containing items and chemicals)
- Pianos
- Tires (bring to the Ada County Landfill)
- Tube TVs
- Up to 27 inches may be brought to a Household Hazardous Waste Site
- Larger than 27 inches must be brought to the Ada County Landfill
- Windows and mirrors over 4 ft. long
* Please remember that rechargeable batteries can cause fires. These batteries can become damaged when compacted in the collection trash trucks, and damaged batteries cause fires.
