Yard Debris Composting: Grass, Leaves, and Branches

Curbside yard debris composting is available to Meridian residents with trash and recycling carts.

Service includes a separate 95-gallon yard debris cart for an additional fee of $8.74 per month. During the spring and fall, the cart can be filled with yard debris, such as grass, leaves, and branches. During the winter months, the cart can be used as an extra trash cart.

Material Collection Timeframes

• Yard Debris: April 1 - November 30
• Additional trash: December 1 - March 31

Accepted*

• Grass clippings
• Leaves
• Branches, please cut to fit loosely in cart

* Yard debris collected from April through November is composted by Timber Creek Recycling.
